Sudipto is an SEO & AEO content consultant for B2B saas companies. At After the Search, he combines original perspectives, research, and experiments to explore the future of search and discovery and what it means for people and businesses.
Hey there! I’m Sudipto. I’m originally from Kolkata, though I now call Bangalore home. Glad you’re here!
My first content marketing gig, back in 2016, was writing press releases for PR submission sites. I was freelancing then, and that’s where it all started.
Over time, the assignments changed. I started working with SaaS companies who needed well-researched blog posts that could compete on SERP. Writing those pieces meant getting to know the software, understanding the questions people were asking, and finding a clear way to answer them.
In 2019, I took that work into a full-time role with a B2B software company. From there, my career took me through Corefactors, GreyCampus, and eventually G2, where I now lead the SEO content team. I also continued freelancing along the way, which gave me the chance to work with more businesses and deliver results for them.
As the years went by, I found myself working on more than the articles themselves. I became involved in deciding what we should write, working through technical SEO problems, managing editorial projects, exploring how AI could help, and leading the people doing the work.
Looking back, it’s been quite a journey from those first press releases. I’ve learned a lot from the people I’ve worked with, and some of the projects we’ve taken on together have delivered results I’m proud to share.
A few highlights from my work:
50,000+ monthly organic sessions from rebuilding a content audit and optimization process at G2, identifying gaps and improving existing content.
45,000 net-new organic visits by identifying high-potential content opportunities through GSC data analysis.
68,000 sessions from 150 articles created through an AI-assisted, first-person content format that I helped develop and scale.
30,000 additional monthly visitors through a new long-form content approach.
40% less research time for writers by building an ICP dashboard that helped them understand target audiences and their needs.
15% less research time for sales teams through an AI workflow that identified when customers appeared in relevant online articles.
200 marketing-qualified leads per month from content campaigns at GreyCampus, with a 4% conversion rate.
These results came from different projects and periods. What connects them is the way I approach content: understand the problem, study the data, build a repeatable process, and keep improving what works.
I’ve also had the opportunity to work with senior industry leaders, interview experienced practitioners, mentor writers, and build workflows that help teams produce better work without simply increasing their workload.
Over time, I’ve become increasingly interested in the systems behind search and content performance. Not just why a page ranks, but how information gets discovered, why certain sources receive attention, and what makes content genuinely useful to the people who find it. That interest became the starting point for After the Search.
I’m open to select consulting projects and collaborations, around AEO, SEO strategy, content strategy, and AI search. If you’re working on something interesting and think I could help, feel free to connect with me on LinkedIn. I’d love to hear about it!
